How do I mark a vehicle as claimed in TowLien?
Use the Claim by Interested Party tool to mark a vehicle as claimed and to manage the claimant list.
Marking a vehicle as claimed
Navigate to the vehicle you want to claim and select the Tasks tab.
Under Tasks - Vehicle Tools, select Claim by Interested Party.
Select the interested party from the Claimed by dropdown.
Select Go.
The vehicle's status will update to Claimed by the interested party you selected or entered.
Claiming on behalf of your own company
Checking the Claimed by "your company name" box sets the vehicle as claimed to your company directly, without needing to add it as an interested party manually.
Adding a new party as a claimant
If the party you need isn't already listed, you can add one:
Select Add New Party.
Enter the additional party's information.
Select Add.
Select your new party under the Claimed by dropdown.
Select Go.
