How do I set up custom inventory statuses in Towlien?

Custom inventory statuses let you identify and sort vehicles using your own labels instead of just the default statuses.

Common statuses used by other companies

  • Waiting on Title

  • Ready for Auction

  • Sent to Auction

  • Waiting on Owner Information

  • Salvage Title on Hand

  • Full Title on Hand

  • Packet Sent to State for Review

Setting it up

  1. Log into your account, then select Account Settings in the navigation bar.

  2. Under General, scroll down to the Dictionary panel and select ADD/EDIT.

  3. Enter the new statuses based on your business's needs.

  4. Select Save.

Using your new statuses

Your new statuses will appear on your account and can be selected on the Vehicle Details page for any vehicle.

To see all vehicles in a specific status, run the Inventory Report under Reports — the new statuses sort under the Custom Status tab.
