Setting up custom inventory statuses allows TowLien users to identify and sort their vehicles with their own custom status.
Commonly used statuses are:
Waiting on Title
Ready for auction
Sent to auction
Waiting on owner information
Salvage title on hand
Full Title on hand
Packet sent to state for review
To get this feature set up, Log in to your account then select Account Settings on the navigation bar.
Under General, scroll down to the Dictionary panel and press ADD/EDIT
Enter the new statuses based on your business requirements
Select Save
Your new statuses will now show under your account and are available for selection on top of your Vehicle Details page(s).
You can also view all vehicles in a specific status by running the Inventory Report under reports, the new status will sort under the Custom Status tab.
